Do I need any experience to start?

How much does it cost?

Which licence should I go for?
The two most popular licences are the CAT C (Class 2) and the CAT C+E (Class 1) licence.
The Cat C is a great entry into the industry driving a smaller HGV with no trailer, whereas the C+E is the largest type and allows you to drive all lorries, with higher earnings.

Do I have to do a medical test?
The first step for a new HGV driver would be to complete a short medical test, don’t worry though there’s no running and star jumps! Just a quick 10 minute appointment that covers things like an eye sight test, blood pressure check and some basic health questions with our approved local doctors
