Our Class 1 HGV Training begins right from the start with full support through your medical, licence application forms, and test bookings. We guide you through your theory preparation and arrange your theory and practical test dates for you. Once training begins, you’ll work closely with expert instructors in a structured C+E HGV training programme designed to build skill, confidence, and control. The final steps
How do the HGV Driving tests work for C+E (Class 1)
As part of your Class 1 HGV Training (C+E), you’ll complete two practical driving tests. Module 3A is the off-road manoeuvres test, covering reversing and uncoupling/recoupling the trailer in a controlled environment. Module 3B is the on-road driving test, assessing real-world driving skills, safety awareness, and professional road use.
