How do the HGV Driving tests work for category c?
For Category C (Class 2), the practical driving test is split into two parts: Module 3a (off-road manoeuvres) and Module 3b (on-road driving). You’ll practise controlled exercises such as reversing, vehicle safety questions and safe coupling procedures, before moving onto real-world road driving that covers urban routes, rural roads and higher-speed conditions. Our experienced instructors focus on calm, structured coaching, helping you build confidence, road awareness and test-ready habits.
